Superchops 1ss ~

The 1ss has been our most exciting mouthpiece since it's introduction in spring '16. Jerry specifically designed the 1ss to help players struggling with chop problems. It's both small and unforgiving. So it works like a bold 'stop signal'; it shuts off as soon as your proper embouchure starts to lose its grip. Hence, chop problems are immediately identifiable. Superchops 3 ~

Replaces the hugely successful Superchops 2. The SC3 uses the same cup and rim as the SC2, but moves to a 29 throat instead of the previous 27. After countless hours of testing, the result is more exceptionally rich, centered tone with even greater clarity and power. The unmatched fullness of tone, with spot-on intonation from lowest register to above double high C is remarkable. The SC3 provides a performance improvement that can be immediately heard out front.

Kris from London, 4/14: "Wow! I recently picked up one of your SC-3 mouthpieces. Hands down it is the best mouthpiece I have ever played! From GR, Bach, Warburton, and  Monette, etc - I absolutely love the Superchops 3. I find your mouthpiece easier to play and my sound is just fantastic! Many thanks."

Jamie H, from Ca, 3/13: "I bought an SC3 from you a couple of years ago and use it daily. I tried Chris Jaudes' SC6 for a few minutes while we were out with Paul Anka's band the last couple of weeks and I want to try one!"

Nick S. from NY, 3/12: "Received the SC3s mouthpiece and I hear a big difference from my Yamaha Bobby Shew lead mouthpiece. The high register is much fatter and crisper. My lip seems much more relaxed when I play. Before, I was exerting much more pressure. Now, the high register seems almost effortless to play. I love this mouthpiece! I'm retiring the Bobby Shew mouthpiece."

Superchops 3s ~

The SC3s is an exact copy of a standard SC3 but with a cup that is apx 2mm shallower. The SC3s is an exceptional mouthpiece for upper register work. Yet, it still retains a large and focused sound in the middle register. Players accustomed to a smaller cup will cherish this mouthpiece for extremely efficient sound in all idioms.

Bjorn S. from Norway, 7/12: I received the mouthpieces [SC 4 and SC6] yesterday and they are simply AMAZING!!! They really put my Schilke 6A4A to shame. Thanks again for great service and some amazing mouthpieces.

 Superchops 6 ~

For advanced players seeking an even more focused sound with the densest core and most powerful projection possible

Diameter: Same as Superchops 4, approximately .640", 41/64", 16.25mm, the diameter of a NY Bach 7C
Very shallow double cup, apx 1.5mm shallower than the SC4, 29 throat, same longer backbore as the SC4
Same wide, exceptionally comfortable rim as Superchops 4
May require additional acclimation time for players not yet proficient on a very shallow cup

Update, May 2012: Extensive testing of this mouthpiece with a large number of highly advanced players has shown that the SC6, in the right hands, is both an outstanding mouthpiece and a superb embouchure tool. The very shallow cup requires a highly advanced embouchure. An embouchure which allows the lips to blow forward will result in premature bottoming-out. However, for those that are ready for a shallow cup the results are truly amazing. For these players, the sound is actually BIGGER than the already very large sound of the SC4. Ease and endurance in the upper range are exceptional with no loss in focus or richness. Numerous advanced lead players have found the magic in this mouthpiece. The sound of this mouthpiece is so big that it is even being used in professional orchestras in the U.S. and Europe

Jamie H, from Ca, 3/13: "I bought an SC3 from you a couple of years ago and use it daily. I tried Chris Jaudes' SC6 for a few minutes while we were out with Paul Anka's band the last couple of weeks and I want to try one!"
